Two half-moon sections

Because of its thickness and weight, the felt is supplied in two half-moon-shaped sections.

Recommended center overlap

During installation, the two sections should overlap slightly at the center. This overlap helps maintain continuous protection and prevent sand or rock dust from rising between the two sections.

• No gap between the sections

Avoid excessive material buildup in the center, as extra thickness may be noticeable beneath the liner.

Proper ground preparation is essential

The felt must not be installed directly on unprepared ground.

Before installation:

1. Properly level and compact the base.
2. Remove rocks, roots, and sharp objects.
3. Remove significant bumps and depressions.
4. Position the two felt sections.
5. Create the center overlap.
6. Carefully smooth out the wrinkles.
7. Install the liner without moving the underlay.

An improperly prepared base can damage the liner, even when protective felt is used.
