According to PharmaSpa, these crystals are designed for spas and jet baths and, when used as directed, should not damage filters, jets, or plumbing or unbalance the water chemistry.

Directions

Spa / hot tub: add 1 to 2 capfuls for approximately 500 gallons of water.
Bathtub / whirlpool bath: add 1/2 to 1 capful.
Foot bath: add 1/2 to 1 tablespoon.
