Minéraluxe spa maintenance – Instructions
Initial interview
- While the spa is filling, add the initial dose ( 2 Minéraluxe cubes ) to protect the mechanics of your spa and prevent scale from form in the piping of your spa.
- Once the spa is full, open your spa's circuit breaker and activate the pumps to start heating the water.
- Bring us a water sample for recommendations on the swaying of your water.
- Balance your water
- Let the water circulate for 2 hours.
- Apply 1 sachet of Mineraluxe Oxygen . Make sure the pump and filter are working and leave it cover open for at least one hour after application. Allow the water to circulate for at least 15 minutes before switching to the next step.
- Fill your tablet dispenser with enough bromine or chlorine to maintain a continuous level of 3.0 to 5.0 ppm during the week.
Advice : test the sanitizer and pH level with the Test Strips . Add bromine or chlorine granules if necessary Mineraluxe to increase the sanitizer level if it falls below 3.0 ppm. Always maintain the bromine/chlorine reading between 3.0 and 5.0 ppm.
Weekly maintenance
- Add regularly 1 cube Mineraluxe to protect your spa against metal stains and scale formation.
- Oxidize the water with Mineraluxe Oxygen by spreading it on the water surface.
Note : a heavy load of bathers may require more applications frequent. Allow the water to circulate for at least 15 minutes and remove covered with the spa for a minimum of one hour.
- Fill your dispenser with tablets with bromine or chlorine to maintain a continuous level of 3.0 to 5.0 ppm throughout the week.
- Remove the filter cartridge and rinse it with water from from a garden hose.
- Clean the scum line with a cloth (microfiber) or as needed with Tub Cleanse.
- Clean the underside of your spa cover with Clean and Perfect to remove all traces of mold.
Monthly maintenance
- Have your water analyzed at Piscine Hippocampe. Adjust the pH, total alkalinity and calcium hardness as required.
- Deeply clean your filters with Minéraluxe Filter Revive ( watch video here! )
Draining your spa (drainage)
- Clean the entire spa, including the plumbing, with Minéraluxe Cleanse and Drain . Add the product according to label directions the day before draining.
- Empty the spa and clean the surfaces with Surface Cleanse
- Clean the cartridge with Minéraluxe Filter Revive in following label instructions.
Advice: Clean your spa cover with Cover Cleanse and Protect in order to waterproof it and extend its lifespan.
